Low-cost iPhone back cover images leak

If you're thinking buying an iPhone but it's too expensive, this may a hope for you. The low-cost iPhone has been rumored for few month, and there are few images of it back cover have leaked out.

The back cover of low cost iPhone looks nice, it looks a little bit like the 5th generation iPod Touch. The camera unit of it is unclear but we suggested it has a 5 MP resolution, there's a LED flash too. A dedicated microphone appears between the camera lens and LED flash. Naturally, the Apple logo and iPhone sign will also appear at the back of it.

The Sony Xperia i1 Honami is expected to unveil next month, before that, it is not surprise that some live photos and press images leak out. We have posted some new live photos a couple day ago. First photo of Sony Xperia Honami leaks

Sony has announced the Xperia Z Ultra a couple days ago, but still left one high-end Sony smartphone which is still unofficial. Today, the Xperia Honami has it first live photo - the OmniBalance design gives away its Xperia Z family allegiance, but the camera does not place at same position as any official models.

The Xperia Honami is make to compete the Galaxy S4 Zoom and Nokia EOS cameraphone. It is rumor to be having a large 1/1.6" sensor with 20 MP resolution. However, it seems that the phone is a little bit too slim to be able to host such a large sensor, everything will be clear when it is official.

Motorola X phone leaks in a photo

The Motorola X phone has been rumor for few months, and now that a photo leaked out which mean the X phone is really near to announced.

There's an image leaked caught it is in testing Sprint USA's 4G LTE network. The device was said to be having 4.5" to 4.6" display.

From the image above, you can see that the X phone has stock Android UI. We not quite sure whether the notification light is it under the screen similar to Nexus devices.

Sony announces Xperia Z Ultra with 6.44" Full HD display and new SmartWatch

After a long wait, the Xperia Z Ultra finally goes official. It has the fastest smartphone processor, largest Full HD display in a smartphone and it is the slimmest Full HD smartphone. Of course, Sony has also announced SmartWatch 2 with NFC connectivity and it also comes with water resistance.

The Xperia Z Ultra has a 6.44" 1080p display with Sony's Triluminous and X-Reality tech. It has the pixel density of 342 ppi which is similar to the Xperia S and higher than Huawei Ascend Mate and Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. You can also use the pencil as stylus too.

LG Optimus G2 screenshots leak

LG is holding an event at next month for next Optimus G-series smartphone. The Optimus G2 have appeared revealing a bit of what LG has been cooking for its upcoming Android flagship smartphone.

The screenshots show that the Optimus UI doesn't changed too much, but it looks like LG has leave out the physical buttons and put the buttons to onscreen.

  

There's no any further information about the Optimus G2 but a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The onscreen buttons would also make it easier for LG to make the rumored Nexus 5.

HTC is preparing Windows Phone 8 version of HTC One

HTC One is getting more and more popular for being an excellent Android smartphone, this is because the company has given it good specs, design, build quality and software capabilities. There's a rumor saying that HTC might launch a Windows Phone 8 version of HTC One.

According to Neowin, HTC is indeed working on a new Windows Phone 8 device that will be similar, although not identical to the One. It will feature 4" to 5" display, Beats Audio, UltraPixel camera and mostly will be full metal body.

[Samsung Premiere 2013] Samsung announces Galaxy NX with 20.3 MP APS-C sensor

Samsung just announced the first Android interchangeable lens camera - Galaxy NX. The device is more advanced version of Galaxy Camera with a much larger sensor and you get a choice of NX mount lenses.



The Galaxy NX uses 20.3 MP APS-C sensor, it is capable for 1080p video recording at 25fps. The camera features DRIMe IV Image Signal Processer and can do burst shots at 8.6fps with a maximum shutter speed of up to 1/6000 sec.

You can use any NX mount lens, pancake lenses, fish eye lenses, long primes and zoom lenses, even a 45mm 2D/3D lens on the Galaxy NX. Some lenses feature Optical Image Stabilization too.

Good news for Xperia fans, Sony Mobile has released the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Xperia ZL users. The screenshots below is available for the European LTE version of device (C6503). It will also coming to the HSPA+ version (C6502).



The update is rolled out surprisingly, the Xperia ZL will be the first Sony Xperia line-up to running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. This is a great news for Xperia fans and hopefully it will coming to other Sony Xperia smartphone soon.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra, codenamed Togari is expected to announced next Tuesday. Before that, there are few screenshots leaked to confirm the specs and showing the launcher.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 priced at RM 1,599

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 was announced few month ago, it is currently largest display smartphone in the world. It seems that the ultra large phablet will be available in Malaysia soon.

IMCC Network, an online store for mobile devices has listed the Galaxy Mega 6.3 as "coming soon" with a retail price as RM 1,599.

Yesterday, HTC has announced the entry-level Desire 200. Today, it's time to bring something high-end, HTC has just made the Butterfly S official.

The Butterfly S is an upgrade version of the original Butterfly, it has the same design but with dual stereo speakers on the front, which called as HTC BoomSound. The Butterfly S has the same 5" Full HD Super LCD 3 display with pixel density of 440 ppi. It is powered by a 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU with Adreno 320 GPU and 2 GB of RAM, which is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE.

Few weeks ago, Huawei keep teasing the Ascend P6 with images. Now the teasing is over, the Ascend P6 finally goes official and it comes with 6.2 mm slim body design.

HTC announces new entry-level Desire 200

HTC has just officially announced its latest entry-level device - Desire 200. The Desire 200 is running on HTC Sense UI but with unspecified Android version. Although it is an entry-level smartphone, the Desire 200 still packs a Beats Audio music enhancement.

The Desire 200 has a 3.5" LCD display of 320 x 480 resolution, it is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 CPU and 512 MB of RAM. However, it has only 4 GB internal memory but thankfully it support microSD card slot.

Sony teased the Xperia Z Ultra with image

It seems that Sony is working on a phablet, the Xperia Z Ultra which codenamed Togari is seems to be announce next month, 4th July. Today, Sony teased its upcoming phablet in a press invite.

HTC One mini appears on camera again

Just a few days ago the HTC One mini has appeared alongside with the HTC One, and today the One mini appears on camera next to its bigger brother in a matching colour.

 

The rumored specs for the HTC One mini said to feature a 4.3" 720p display, a 1.4 GHz dual-core CPU which expected a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. The One mini is also expected to packs an UltraPixel camera and be capable for Zoe share and 1080p videos. There's no further information except that the phone will be running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with update Sense 5.0 UI.

Older iDevices would not getting all features from iOS 7

The announcement of iOS 7 makes many iOS users happy and excited. However, there's a bad news telling that not all iOS 7 features will be available to older iDevices.

As you can see, the iPad 2 has the fewest supported features, it only getting iTunes Radio which not important for some users. The iPhone 4 will be getting iTunes Radio, Square photos and Photo filters. Next, iPhone 4S will be working withou Air Drop and Camera filters.

For iPads, none of it will be getting Panorama shooting modes. The most fortunate is iPad with Retina Display (iPad 4), it is getting all iOS 7 features except for Panorama shooting modes. The good news is, iPod touch 5th generation and iPhone 5 will be getting all iOS 7 features.

Samsung officially announced its latest cameraphone that running Android and it is the last device that Samsung will be announced in the Galaxy S4 range. The new Samsung cameraphone - Galaxy S4 Zoom is basically a combination of Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy Camera. The good news is, it allows you to make calls.

If we are combile with a Samsung Galaxy S4 and Mega 6.3, S4 is a top dog. Mega 6.3 still have a distance to being flagship. But 6.3 inch is better than 8 inch, 7 inch tablet, if you needs a calling function tablet, works like a tablet, portable tablet. Forget about Galaxy Note 2 but you can actually choose 6.3 inch OR 5.8 inch Dual Sim Dual Standby version of Galaxy Mega.

Apple introduces Mac OS X Mavericks and new MacBook Air

Besides iOS 7, Apple has also announced a brand new version for Mac OS X operating system. The new Mac OS X operating system is named as Mac OS X Mavericks.

The new version of Mac OS X is focuses on extended battery life and UI responsiveness. The OpenGL 4 is to optimize graphic drawing, but also other tricks like compressed memory and more. Apple promises that that with this optimizations, the CPU usage will be lower up to 72%.

The Apple WWDC 2013 is finally started, everyone know that it is the time that the iOS 7 unveils. At last, the iOS 7 was announced with new user interface.



iOS 7 brings a brand new looking for it own UI and the icons look more simple and nice. Just before the Apple WWDC 2013, Samsung has announced the next generation of their Ace devices - Galaxy Ace 3. The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is a Galaxy S4-inspired design smartphone and it follows the spirit of past Galaxy Ace devices.



The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core CPU of unknown chipset with 1 GB of RAM. It has a 4 GB internal memory but with expandable memory up to 64 GB microSD card. The Galaxy Ace 3 sports a 4" WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) TFT LCD display. At the back there's a 5 MP camera which is capable for 720p video recording. Sony Xperia Tablet Z is still on it way to Malaysia, but before that, many peoples were longing to know the pricing of it. SenHeng has listed the pricing of Xperia Tablet Z as RM 1,999 and it's available for pre-order.

Sony holding a press event on 25th June

It looks like June will be a busy month, besides the Samsung Premiere 2013, Sony has also holds a press event on 25th June, which is 5 days after Samsung press event.

There's no any hint of what device will be unveils, but Sony will announce more details later.

The event is expected to launch a new Sony phablet - Xperia L4 Togari, which rumor said that it will named as Xperia Z Ultra. The phablet will having a 6.44" 1080p display, which supports the use of pencils as styluses, Snapdragon 800 chipset, IP55/IP58 certification (water and dust resistance), 8 MP camera, 2.2 MP front camera and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Google has announced the Nexus experience for Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One recently. So, what will be next? There's a rumor saying that the Xperia Z with Nexus experience will be launched in July.

According to “a Sony insider who wanted to remain anonymous”, Google and Sony will soon launch Xperia Z Google Edition. The Xperia Z Google Edition is said to announced in July but there's no exact date. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has leaked online many times, but this time it goes official. We know that the Galaxy S4 Active was the waterproof version of Galaxy S4. It features IP67 certification for dust and water protection, thanks to the newly-designed body.

Nexus 4 White Version to be halt for a moment
