[Computex 2013] Asus unveiled Transformer Book Trio, VivoPC and VivoMouse

Asus has officially announced the Transformer Book Trio at Computex 2013. The Transformer Book Trio is a 3 in 1 mobile device, which dual-boots Windows 8 and Android and aims to give you a netbook, a tablet and a Windows 8 desktop PC in one device.


The Transformer Book Trio has a 11.6" detachable display and the PC Station dock has an Intel Core i7 processor, keyboard and a 750 GB hard drive. The tablet display can be detached and the main part can be hooked to an external display to use as a desktop PC.

The PC Station can also be used as a charger for the tablet for extending the battery life. The tablet features a 2 GHz Intel Atom processor, 64 GB inbuilt memory and a 1920 x 1080o Full HD display. The Transformer Book has a unique ability to switch between operating systems and gain access to over 700,000 apps in the Google Play Store and over 50,000 apps in the Windows Store.

[Computex 2013] Asus announced Fonepad Note

Asus not only announced tablet, they also announced the new phablet - Asus Fonepad Note. The Fonepad Note was a 6" phablet with 1080p Full HD display.


The Fonepad Note is just like the original Fonepad, it is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with 2 GB of RAM, and there's also a PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU.

The 6″ Super IPS+ screen has 1080p resolution for a big increase in pixel density- 367 ppi vs. 216 ppi for the 7″ WXGA screen of the tablet. The screen is rated at 450 nits of brightness and works with an S-Pen like stylus and dedicated Asus apps.

[Computex 2013] Asus announced Transformer Pad Infinity, MeMO Pad FHD 10 and MeMO Pad HD7

Asus has announced 3 new Android tablets - Transformer Pad Infinity, MeMO Pad FHD 10 and MeMO Pad HD7. The Transformer Pad Infinity is the update version of Transformer Pad, it is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 SoC with 1.9 GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU and 72-core GeForce GPU.



The Transformer Pad Infinity features 10.1" 2560 x 1600 resolution IPS display, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal memory, 5 MP camera, 1.2 MP front camera, USB 3.0 port, SD card slot and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

[Computex 2013] Acer announced first 8" Windows 8 tablet: Acer Iconia W3

Acer not only announced their phablet on Computex 2013, they also announced the first 8" Windows 8 tablet - Acer Iconia W3.


The Acer Iconia W3 has a 8.1" 800 x 1280 resolution display. It is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 processor with internal storage 32 GB and 64 GB variants. It features 2 MP front and back camera, micro HDMI out, micro USB port, microSD card slot and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.

The Iconia W3 runs on Windows 8 and Acer is really touting the Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 suite that is included out of the box.

[Computex 2013] Acer announced new 5.7" phablet: Acer Liquid S1

It's a phablet wars, currently Samsung, Huawei, LG and Lenovo have announced their phablet. There's also a rumor saying that HTC, Nokia and Sony are working for their phablet. Before that, it seems like Acer also taking part the phablet wars. Acer has just announced Liquid S1, it is a 5.7" phablet which is larger than Note II.

The Liquid S1 has a 5.7" 720p HD TFT display, it is Acer first smartphone that has larger display than 5". The phablet is bound for Asia and Europe, this means that Malaysia will be getting it soon. The Acer Liquid S1 available for single-SIM and dual-SIM variants.

The Liquid S1 is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 1 GB of RAM. It is also running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with stock Android experience. The phablet has a 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot up to 32 GB.
