Lenovo Vibe Z a.k.a K910 reveals with Snapdragon 800 processor

Lenovo has launched the frist Vibe series device - Vibe X S960, in China yesterday. However, a new handset was spotted at the launch event - Vibe Z a.k.a K910.

The Lenovo Vibe Z was previous known as K910, and it is the successor of the Intel-powered K900. The design of the handset is similar to the Vibe X which is based on the metal material. This also meant that the Vibe series devices are basically based on metal material.

Nokia Windows RT tablet will be called as Lumia 2520

The Galaxy Note 3 is Samsung latest flagship device after the Galaxy S4, and the Galaxy Gear is Samsung's first ever smartwatch, it can only works with several Samsung high-end devices such as Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 3 and  Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. BlackBerry announces Z30 with 5" 720p display

BlackBerry has just announced their new flagship device BlackBerry Z30. The size and shape looks identical to the rumour that media has made couple of weeks ago.

      

It has a 5" HD Super AMOLED display with 294 ppi. Like the BlackBerry Z10, the Z30 also has a 16 GB internal storage and  2 GB of RAM which suitable for multitasking. It offers a micro SD card slot to expand the storage if needed.

Snapdragon S4 powered HTC One S will getting Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 update

Back to July, HTC had dropped the plan for updating the One S to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 UI. HTC did not state the reason why the One S not getting Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 update. According to some source, HTC stop updating the One S due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 powered HTC One S C2 (Ville C2) variant which was released in Asian (including Malaysia) and select eastern European markets.

Qualcomm has stopped critical software support for the S3, leaving the obligation to update those gnarly pieces of chipset software on OEMs. Coding the Android 4.2 update with Sense 5 for the S3 variant of the One S would not be impossible, but it would force HTC software engineers to take on an extremely difficult and expensive task which has typically fallen on Qualcomm’s shoulders. Here's a good news for Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 powered HTC One S users, the One S will receive Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update soon alongside with Sense 5 UI.

Sony Xperia Z2 (C770X) specs leak, codenamed Avatar

It seems that Nokia Android device not just a discussion, but it was a reality. According to The New York Times, a team within Nokia has Android up and running on Lumia handsets before the company was sold to Microsoft.

HTC One Max gets sized up against the One

The IFA 2013 has past and HTC did not announced the One Max, we expect HTC to unveil a phone that can compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - HTC One Max. Judging from the name, you can expect that the One Max will be a larger version of the One and pack with some higher specs than the One. Today, the HTC One Max gets sized up against the HTC One in a couple of photos.



From the photo above, you can see that the One Max is larger than the One. It seems that the rumored 5.9" display is the main factor that makes the phone become larger. Same, the One Max will feature a  HTC BoomSound, which is dual frontal stereo speakers. It also has an aluminium unibody too. The One Max also has two Android capacitive touch keys - Back and Home, and the HTC logo is located between both buttons.

When we saw the leaked of the Nexus 5 we knew that Google is going to announce the Nexus 5 alongside with Android 4.4 KitKat very soon. Today we found out that several rumors have said that 14th of October will be the official release date for the Nexus 5 and also Android 4.4 KitKat.

HTC Desire 500 now available in Malaysia for RM 899

Yesterday we spotted HTC Desire 500 in Digital Mall, but sadly, we couldn't take a photo of it and ask for the pricing of it. But, according to LowYat.NET, HTC Malaysia has just announced the arrival of its new mid-range Android smartphone - HTC Desire 500, it is priced at RM 899.

The HTC Desire 500 was HTC latest mid-range smartphone and it was announced last month. The Desire 500 is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1 GB of RAM. Surprisingly, although the Desire 500 is a mid-range smartphone, but it does runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5 UI on top. No information whether it will get Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update or not.

Nokia Lumia 1520 sized up against Xperia Z1

It seems that Nokia will be joining the phablet war soon, a couple days ago there's a press image of Nokia upcoming phablet, Lumia 1520 leaked. This time around, the phablet leaked in a number of live photos and it even getting sized up against the new Xperia Z1.

The Nokia Lumia 1520, also known as Nokia Bandit rumored to packs a large 6" 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. There is no information on the camera of the phablet, but some rumors suggested it will having 20 MP resolution with PureView technology.

HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update coming this month

HTC American's president Jason Mackenzie responded to some questions on Twitter regarding to the HTC One upcoming Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. He says the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean development for the One is right on schedule and the roll out will start by the end of this month as promised. This applies for both U.S and E.U HTC One units, no word on the international version of HTC One.

GSMArena has also posted an image of HTC One running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The image was shot at IFA 2013. From the image above, the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean still running with Sense 5 UI on top, but not as the rumored HTC One Max with Sense 5.5 UI.
