LG now rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update to the G2

LG has finally rolled out the Android 4.4 KitKat update to their flagship - LG G2. The update is now available to Korean LG G2 users, while the rest of the country still need to wait for it.


It seems that LG will be skipping the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update and move straight to the Android 4.4 KitKat update. Currently the device that confirmed will get the Android KitKat update is only the G2, while other LG ex-flagships are still waiting for the confirmation from LG.

5.5" Huawei phablet leaks in live photos

Huawei is working on a 5.5" phablet to compete against other phablet once again. The phablet is codenamed as G750, it will be powered by MediaTek's new true octa-core processor.


The new MediaTek true octa-core processor is able to run all eight cores simultaneously unlike the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor, which runs four faster cores or four slower cores depending on processing needs.

The new SoC also able to support 4K video playback that already found on Snapdragon 800 SoC, it also able to capture 16 MP stills and record full HD videos.

Nokia Lumia 525 debuts with 1 GB RAM

Nokia has finally took a wrap off to the Lumia 525, a new Nokia entry-level handset. The Lumia 525 is the successor of the Lumia 520.


Specs wise, the Lumia 525 has a 4" IPS LCD display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels at 235 ppi of pixel density, it is powered by 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 1 GB of RAM, which supports more apps than its predecessor (512 MB RAM).

The Lumia 525 has 8 gigs of internal storage with expandable storage up to 64 GB via microSD card. The handset has the same 5 MP camera without LED flash again, but it still capable for 720p video recording at 30fps.

Refreshed version of Sony Xperia Z1 leaks

Looks like a new Sony device is on its way, a new Xperia smartphone has appeared next to the Xperia Z1. It may be a refreshed version of the Xperia Z1 or maybe another new device from Sony.

LG G Flex gets drop test treatment

Sony hints Xperia SP will get Android 4.4 KitKat update; Xperia T, Xperia TX, Xperia V and Xperia ZR are "Under Investigation"

Earlier this month Sony has announced the Android 4.3/4.4 update plans for its devices. Sony has stated that Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia Tablet Z will getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update after the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, while Xperia SP, Xperia T, Xperia TX, Xperia V and Xperia ZR will stuck at Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Recently Sony did not confirmed that another five Xperia smartphones (Xperia SP, Xperia T, Xperia TX, Xperia V and Xperia ZR) will not getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update. Today there's a news said that the Xperia SP will get to taste the chocolate while the remaining four devices are "Under Investigation".

Samsung pauses the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to Galaxy S III

Two weeks ago Samsung started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to the Galaxy S III. The update does bring some nice features such as support for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, but many users complaint that the update brought a lot of issues to the Galaxy S III.

New Google Nexus 10 leaks, this time it is manufactured by LG

The new Google Nexus 10 has been rumored for a few months, it is said to be manufactured bu Asus. However, a couple of images leaked out today pointing that the 2013 edition Nexus 10 will be manufactured by LG.

Sony QX10 lens-style camera available in Malaysia for RM 699

The Sony QX10 lens-style camera finally arrived Malaysian market, it is priced at RM 699.
