LG Optimus G Pro for Asian goes official

Previously, we posted that LG may launch Asian version of Optimus G Pro. At last, it's finally goes official.

The Asian version of Optimus G Pro is same as the Korean and American versions. It has the same 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the Asian version will only getting 16 GB internal memory but with microSD card slot.

LG Optimus G Pro is one of the most advanced smartphones currently on the market today. With its expansive 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display at 400ppi, the Optimus G Pro provides razor sharp images and wide viewing angles as well as a comfortable in-hand experience and great “pocketability.”

HTC One with Nexus experience goes official

Just as the previous rumor, the HTC One that running on stock Android is finally announced. It is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Google Native UI without Sense .

There's no any changed for the specs, but it comes with 32 GB internal storage with bootloader unlocked. Since this is a device without Sense, you’ll probably lose out the fancy HTC Zoe camera features, BlinkFeed and IR Blaster on the Nexus edition. Currently as it is, the HTC One’s new Sense 5.0 is tastefully implemented with minimal fluff but runs on an slightly dated Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The only gripe we foresee on the device is the use of only 2 buttons – Home & Back. This means you’ll still see the on-screen menu button which takes up some display real estate.

Unfortunately, we do not whether it will available in Malaysia as it is currently available in America.

Huawei Ascend Mate available in Malaysia for RM 1,599

The official announcement finally over, the Huawei Ascend Mate priced at RM 1,599. It is currently the largest display smartphone in Malaysia.

The Huawei Ascend Mate has a 6.1" 720p IPS+ LCD display at 241 ppi pixel density with Gorilla Glass protection. The phablet is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Huawei K3V2 CPU with 2 GB of RAM. It features a 8 MP camera that capable for 1080p video recording and a 1 MP front camera.

The Ascend Mate comes with up to 32 GB internal memory and it has a 4,050 mAh battery. The phablet measured at 163.5 x 85.7 x 9.9 mm dimensions and weighs 198 g. It is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI which is almost same as iOS user interface.

We didn't feel surprise with this pricing as Huawei is aiming the market with lower price.

Lenovo IdeaPhone K900 available in Malaysia for RM 1,699

It seems that the Galaxy Note II have another new contender, it is Lenovo IdeaPhone K900. The IdeaPhone K900 is finally available in Malaysia for RM 1,699.

The Lenovo IdeaPhone K900 was recently announced in CES 2013, it is the first phone that powered by Intel dual-core processor.

The IdeaPhone K900 powered by 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The IdeaPhone K900 has a 5.5" 1080p IPS display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection. What make us surprise is, the Ideaphone K900 has a f/1.8 aperture and Sony 13 MP camera with Exmor BSI sensor that currently founded on Xperia Z, there's also 2 MP front camera too.

Samsung announced Galaxy S4 mini

Just before the Samsung Premiere 2013 event, Samsung has announced the Galaxy S4 sibling - Galaxy S4 mini. The Galaxy S4 mini comes with the specs that quite similar as the previous leaked.

The Galaxy S4 mini has a 4.3" qHD Super AMOLED display. It is powered by 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, Adreno 305 GPU and 1.5 GB of RAM. The phone has 8 GB internal memory with microSD card slot.

The Galaxy S4 mini has a 8 MP camera with Sound & Shot and Panorama modes, there's also a 1.9 MP front camera too. It also features Group Play and S Health. However, some of features that Galaxy S4 have will not available in Galaxy S4 mini.

Sony Xperia S, Xperia SL and Xperia Acro S Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update are rolling out now

Good news for Xperia S, Xperia SL and Xperia Acro S owners, Sony has finally announced that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is now rolling out.

Currently the firmware update is available in France and we expected that Malaysia will be getting soon in this few days. Sony has also said that Xperia ion will be next receiving the update.
