Online petition urges HTC continue update One S to further Android version

If you are the HTC One S user, you should heard that the One S will not getting further Android update. Today, HTC One S users have started a petition to convince HTC to continue update the One S to further Android version.



This happens just a day after HTC officially drop the plan for HTC One S which not release an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5 UI update. Users are unhappy that HTC suddenly backing off its promise to launch the latest version for One S.

New HTC One mini photos leak again

We have long time didn't saw any news about the HTC One mini. Though, the Butterfly S is already goes official, the One mini is still keep in wrap, we do not know when will HTC going to unveils the smaller One. Today, the One mini pop-up in front of camera again, the live photos show that the One mini will be having same design as the One. It is quite similar to the photos that we posted previously.

HTC One S will not getting further Android official update

Bad news for HTC One S users, previously there's a rumor said that the One S will also receiving Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with Sense 5 UI. However, HTC France has just officially said that the One S will forever stuck on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean unless you root it.


HTC France has responded a question on Facebook user that the One S won't be getting any new Android and Sense UI updates. Currently the One S is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ UI.

DiGi is ready to launch LTE network on 5th July

Good news for DiGi users, there's a rumor said that DiGi will be officially launching its LTE service on 5th June which is this coming Friday.


Noted that this is just a rumor without any official confirmation. According to this rumor, the LTE can get speeds up to 32 Mbps for downloads and 15 Mbps for uploads.

The competitor of Galaxy Note II - LG Optimus G Pro is heading to Malaysia. We're not surprise as LG has hosted an event in Macau in end of May, it has announced the Asian variant of Optimus G Pro which will available in other Asia country soon. Besides LG, another entry level and mid-range devices from HTC are coming soon to Malaysia too - Desire 200 and Desire 600.

Sony Xperia C appears on Sony Mobile Global website, may available worldwide

Sony Xperia C was announced alongside Xperia Z Ultra recently. However, it is currently available for Chinese market. Today, when we checked back to Sony Mobile Global website, the Xperia C appears on the webpage, it seems like the Xperia C will be available worldwide.

Xperia C has a stunning 5” display.

The Xperia C is a dual-SIM mid-ranger, it has a 5" TFT display but with lower qHD display instead of HD display. The phone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset with 1 GB of RAM. The phone has 4 GB internal storage with microSD card slot.

Sony Xperia Honami (C906) new UI reveal

Yesterday, we saw some press images of the Xperia Honami. However, the Xperia Honami seems not to let people forget about it. Now, there's a few screenshots have been captured and showing it having a new UI, which a more simplify and quite similar to Xperia Z Ultra.

The Xperia Honami rumored to having a Snapdragon 800 chipset. It is able to capture 20 MP photos (resolution of 5248 x 3936) with a new Super Resolution algorithm set and record video at 4K (4000 x 2000) with aspect ratio of 2:1. Other camera features include ISO up to 12800 as well as a Steadyshot mode.

Other new imaging features includes Timeshift burst (glorified burst mode) which allows you to shift back and forth in time to enjoy and share the best moment. Sony has also created a camera API allowing the ability to add functions to the camera app called “Xperia camera add-ons”. Additionally, see some new camera icons below (from left to right): Bokeh, Info-eye, Manual, Socialcast, Timeshift and Effect mode.
