Sony Xperia Z Ultra's "X-Realtiy for mobile" and UI update coming in next month

Sony Xperia Z Ultra has just officially launched in Malaysia a couple of days ago, and just as our first hands-on last week, we have said that the Xperia Z Ultra currently not having X-Reality technology and the same UI as seen on announcement day. Sony has said that they will update it by taking 4-5 weeks time.



As you know, the Xperia Z Ultra that currently available in Malaysia is HSPA+ version (C6802). Sony will be providing an update in early of September that including X-Reality technology and the UI may also be changed after the update.

Previously, we posted that the Nokia Lumia 925 will be priced at RM 1,799 once it launch. The Lumia 925 is now available in Malaysia and surprisingly, the Lumia 925 price tag has been reduced from RM 1,799 to RM 1,599. With this reason, the Lumia 920 has also cut down from RM 1,699 to RM 1,549.

It looks like the HTC Butterfly S is coming to Malaysia soon to challenge Xperia Z Ultra and Galaxy S4 LTE. HTC Malaysia has just announced the device will be available in Malaysia in mid-August for RM 2,399.

Sony Mobile officially launches Xperia Z Ultra in Malaysia

The Xperia Z Ultra was available in certain places last week, but yesterday, Sony Mobile has officially launched the Xperia Z Ultra in Malaysia and it is now available in all Sony Centres and authorised retail outlets at a retail price of RM 2,299.

Motorola Moto X goes official with 720p display

Motorola has finally unwraps the Moto X. However, the smartphone is only exclusive to America, which means that it will not available in Malaysia.



Back to the specs, the Moto X is powered by 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU with 2 GB of RAM. It has 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage without any card expansion. The smartphone has 10 MP camera with ClearPixel technology for outstanding low-light performance.

Sony Xperia Honami live photos leak again, this time with camera sample

Sony Xperia Honami leaks continue and this time there's a photo suspected as the camera sample of the Xperia Honami. The first photo shows the camera lens and LED flash but with unknown camera resolution. However, the following photo has shows the camera UI and confirmed the 20 MP CMOS sensor.

The Xperia Honami is said to be having Sony G-lens and BIONZ image processing. It confirmed to be having a 20 MP camera at the back which use to compete with Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
