Huawei will launch the Ascend P6S with octa-core processor

The president of Huawei, Xu Xin Quan, has confirmed that the company will launch an upgrade version of Huawei Ascend P6 with octa-core processor.

The upgraded Ascend P6 will be named as the Ascend P6S, it will be replacing the K3V2 chipset by the true octa-core processor. The true octa-core processor will allow all cores operate simultaneously unlike the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa chipset.

Sony QX10 lens-style camera available in Malaysia for RM 699

The Sony QX10 lens-style camera finally arrived Malaysian market, it is priced at RM 699.



The QX10 has a 18.2 MP 1/2.3″ Exmor R sensor that’s mated with its very own Sony G Lens. As comparison, the higher end QX100 comes with a larger 1.0″ sensor that shoots 20.9 MP and Carl Zeiss 7 elements lens. It also comes with Optical Zoom of 3.6X, as opposed to the QX10′s 10X Optical Zoom.

Huawei Ascend P6 will be getting Android 4.4 KitKat update on January 2014

While other manufacturers are busy in developing Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, Huawei has just official announced that the Ascend P6 will skip the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update and straight away move to Android 4.4 KitKat update.

No word on other Huawei device to receive Android KitKat update, guess we might need to wait for a long time to know it.

Sony Xperia Z1s appears next to its bigger brother

The Sony Xperia Z1s has made another unofficial appearance. This time around, the Xperia Z1s appeared next to its bigger brother. The mini version of a flagship appeared next to its bigger brother become quite common in a leak, as HTC and Samsung have did it before.

The small flagship is said to be using IPS display panel instead of TFT display. Judging from the image above, I found that the viewing angle of the Xperia Z1s looks dimmer than usual.

HTC M8 specs get more details

We saw the first photo of the HTC M8 last week but there is no word on the specs of the M8. Thanks to evleaks, we finally get to know some information of the HTC M8.

The HTC M8 will be the first HTC smartphone to run on Snapdragon 800 processor and it will boot in Android 4.4 KitKat. Screen wise the M8 will have a 5" 1080p display instead of 2K resolution.
