Google Nexus 7 (2013) by Asus Review: Late But New

Although it's a bit late to review the Google Nexus 7 (2013) by Asus, but at last our team decided to finish the review of the Nexus 7 (2013) before it's really too late.

Back to July, Google and Asus have announced the Nexus 7 (2013). The Nexus 7 (2013) is the successor of the last year Nexus 7 with thinner bezels, lighter weight, slimmer body and some hardware upgrade. The tablet is also the first device to run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Before we continue our review, we need to thanks to Asus Malaysia for sending us the review unit for review purpose. The Nexus 7 (2013) has two versions - Wi-Fi only and the LTE + Wi-Fi. Our review unit is the LTE + Wi-Fi version so there may some different from the Wi-Fi only version.

HTC One Max to release in Malaysia on 21st November

The HTC One Max is the latest smartphone from HTC and it is also the first phablet for HTC. It has the same design language as the One and the One mini. While the One and the One mini already available in Malaysia for a long time, it's time for HTC to bring their first phablet to Malaysian market. According to Amanz.my, the One Max may release in Malaysia on 21st of November, which is next Thursday.



The One Max has a 5.9" Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, Adreno 320 GPU and 2 GB of RAM.

Motorola Moto G goes official

Motorola has finally announced the mid-range Moto G. The Moto G looks identical to the Moto X, it has a smaller 4.5" display but still with 720p resolution and the display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Motorola has even wrapped the insides of the Moto G with a water-resistant nano-coating.

Specs wise, the Moto G is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 Cortex-A7 processor, Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

Android 4.4 KitKat update now seeding to Nexus 7 and Nexus 10

Well it is a good news for both Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 users, Google has began rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets.



The latest update is currently available in Wi-Fi only 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7, while the update will be available soon to the Nexus 4, as well as those Nexus 7 tablets with cellular data. Stay tuned and happy update.

Sony Xperia Z1s leaks continue go on

After the first camera sample of Xperia Z1s leaked, it seems that the mini version of the Xperia Z1 just can't stop to show itself in front of camera. The Xperia Z1s has shown its face once again in front of camera.

From the leaked images, you can see that the Xperia Z1s looks identical to its bigger brother but there are some different from the previous leaked image. However the design still looks same as Xperia Z1 and of course the Xperia Z1s will be waterproofing too. The side of the phone has two pins for charging via a dock, which is similar to the Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra.

First Sony Xperia Z1s camera sample leaks

Sony did not announced the Xperia Z1s yesterday, this means that the Xperia Z1s will continue leak in the future. This time around, the first camera sample of the Xperia Z1s leaked. The camera sample comes with .EXIF data pointing to a Sony D5503 device, which some sources claim is the Xperia Z1s under new Sony's numbering scheme after the C690X - Xperia Z1.





The firmware version of the .EXIF data is 14.2.A.0.204, which is said that based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
